A new beginning for HK Theatre Association

HKTA had to stop its activities last year as everything was uncertain, and we couldn’t envision our next step just yet. Therefore, we took some time off to reflect on new strategies which allowed us to come up with something brand new.

I had to step down from my duty as artistic director, so I could pursue my next adventure back home, France.

I have filled all those years with wonderful memories and encounters. I am, and will always be, truly grateful to all of you who followed, supported, helped us. I could never thank you enough.

This being said, I want to introduce you now to the new logo and the new team HKTA has gathered for its return.

My dear friend and oldest member of HKTA, Lenny B. Conil has now taken the direction of HKTA. Along with him, old and new members to introduce you to new work. I am truly proud and excited. New productions are on the way and I recommend you to keep your faithful support toward them. We may not offer workshops as just yet but soon enough, perhaps in the near future. For now this wonderful team will present you with brand new productions. Please give them your trust and support, so they can too, share their passion for live performances. Long live HKTA! I will miss you all but my heart will be with you. Always.

Emilie Guillot-Laromiguière, founder of HK Theatre Association
