'Quartier Pigalle' is an original Creation by HK Theatre Association group of amateur Actors. We have produced ‘Quartier Pigalle’ which was our first educational production. It was the first time our students performed on stage in front of an audience. It was a part of their program. Therefore they had the opportunity to apply any techniques and exercises they've been learning through the year. 'Quartier Pigalle' is an original creation. We would like to thank them for their hard work and effort amongst the group. It was a pleasure working with them. They have created this powerful, sparkling dark comedy that tells stories about an eclectic and electric group of characters drowned into their meaningless lives. From French Cancan dancers to drug addicts, from lonely clown to powerless witch, from prostitutes to angry men, ‘Life’ seems to have no ‘spice’ until one day, when an intriguing affair occurs. The whole street will finally wonder and realize that Life have prepared them with exiting surprises. “Quartier Pigalle” is a really moving and loving piece of Art.
